Battle of Britain Parade 2016

The Battle of Britain Parade took take place on Sunday September 25th 2016, which was organised by the Neath (617) Branch Royal Air Forces Association. 

The Parade left from outside Hutchinson & Morris Solicitors on London Road at 10:15 hrs.  proceeding through the town to Orchard Street where the Lord Lieutenant would take the salute, then on to St David’s Church where the Battle of Britain Memorial Service held at 11:00 hrs. 

Thankfully the clouds parted and the sun came out during the parade

The inclement weather meant that there was no service this year at the Memorial Gates  at the entrance to Gnoll Park where the Battle of Britain Drumhead Service would have taken place at 12:00 hrs.
