We should be more aware of the heritage buildings that are at risk in our community.  NPT Council has made a website of all listed buildings, which include many that are at risk - some more than others.   The very vulnerable buildings should, perhaps, be listed separately and be considered for Lottery funding.

The website mentioned is quite an eye opener and certain buildings will be left to decay with the passing of time if no attention is given to them.

As a community we should ask ourselves if some of the unoccipied buildings (e.g.churches and chaples) can be put to some good use - remember we have yet to have a building for our art treasures that are currently out of sight in storage.   Surely the Lottery fund can help in this direction?
