Neath & Port Talbot missing from local newspaper website heading - but Llanelli is there
Compare our local newspaper with others and it proves to be a big disappointment, especially when it come to Neath and Port Talbot - both missing from their website heading, although Llanelli and Carmarthen is listed.
The newspaper its-self leaves much to be desired when it comes to reporting news about Neath, which claims to be the oldest market town in Wales. No wonder the Neath Ferret is alleged to be more widely read.

+ The SWEP ain't what it used to be
A former proof reader from the Western Mail tells us that standards on our local paper have dropped with many errors slipping past their proof readers - if they have any. We know that this website is far from perfect but a professional unit like the EP should be better than what it is.
The drop in standards coincide with the fact that the Swansea based newspaper is now printed in Cardiff and now appears early in the morning to compete with the national papers.
