Councillor earns respect from Readers - including Stan

Our correstpondent and political guru, Stan, praises Cllr Andrew Jenkins (left) on our Readers Letters page.   This councillor has the ability to communicate, a fact acknowledged by Stan.

We note that out of 64 NPT councillors only 3 have their own websites - Andrew is one of them.

We also note with some saddness, however, that the LINKS page on Andrew's website does not include the Neath Ferret - and, no doubt, this has been noticed by others.   We sincerely hope that Andrew is not being influenced by other Labour councillors who have critiicized this website.  

It can honestly be said that credit is always given where due and to any councillor who comes up with positive words and actions - like the time we reported two councillors showing an example to residents by picking up litter on a Neath street.
