Reader's Proof

Reader sends in proof that Port Tabot comes before Neath despite the name Neath Port Talbot

An open letter to the Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council:

Dear Sir
Why on earth can't we have any bus shelters like the ones they have in Port Talbot,  modern, clean and even a seat to sit down on or rest your bags on?
Here in the village of Cadoxton, Neath, it seems we have the Port Talbot left overs  - those we have inherited from Port Talbot.  Do they inherit any left overs from Neath?
What a sad and sorry sight it looks when one drives through Cadoxton village it looks run down and on a main artery route close by to the Neath retail park.
It is called a bus shelter but there's nowhere to shelter as the rain blows in from the North and the West.
Perhaps our Council Leader would like to change it for the ones they have in Port Talbot and bring a bit of decorum to our village, after all we are not the 3rd world here -yet.
Yes,  I know money is tight but there are far better bus shelters in country towns of Wales than this eye sore which has been here many many years.
it is about time we had it changed - the sooner, the better.
After all we are named  Neath Port Talbot but what name comes first as far as the Council is concerned?
