Paying more - getting less!
Council Tax Increases
Neath residents will have now received their Council Tax bill for the forthcoming year and will note the substantial increases. It now seems residents. are paying more for less and the report (by Stan) on the Mayor's expenses gives food for thought.
It is noted that with Welsh Water the charge for sewerage (in our example) is £317.70, which exceeds that for water, which is £225.21. When you consider that raw sewage is being dumped in the River Neath, near the town centre, it is not good enough in this day and age.
