A Garden of Statues?

A post from an 'Inside Source' has referred to a previous suggestion made on this website about having statues in Victoria Gardens of those from the Borough who have risen to fame.   

A recent report mentioned the sum of £20,000 for the cleaning of the existing Howel Gwyn statue (right).   Also mentioned on Readers  Letters is a suggestion of a 'Hall of Fame' within a heritage museum, yet to built, in Neath to replace the one that was located at the Gwyn Hall.
