Should we learn from the past?
Today David Cameron expressed a view in the Commons that we should bomb ISIS in Syria. Because of the mention of the late Tony Benn in READERS LETTERS (he was compared with Peter Hain), we wondered what he would have said about Syria if he were still alive. With this in mind, we went back in time to hear what he said about Iraq:
Tony Benn speaks about the actions of America to which it should be remembered that we had no support from them during the Suez war in 1956 or the Falklands war in 1982.
