+ Reader says that council accounts should be put on the Internet

A reader states that council accounts should be put on the Internet for all the year viewing because it is not possible to digest and analyse them in the short space of time available after making an appointment to see them.

In this day and age of so called transparent openness, this should be done if the powers that be have nothing to hide.    The information is stored on computers anyway, so therefore putting the information on the Internet is a practical possibility.
