Neath Landlord exposes danger in beer plastic pipes and filters

The Report
A Landlord of a Neath public house has conducted lengthy and costly research over some eighteen months into a problem he identified in the beer supply industry, revealing persistent and ongoing contamination of the plastic lines and valving in beer lines. Having detected the problem himself he has sought to discuss it with the beer suppliers and their maintenance team.
The suppliers have in fact changed the cellar installations on a number of occasions, without solving the problem, which is – as far as can be determined – one that is likely to affect every licenced premises using this type of equipment and materials.
