Town centre Tesco Metro store to close
The Water Street Tesco store will close shortly when the lease runs out.   It is understood that the building and the multi-story car park above it will be demolished in the next phase of Neath's shopping centre development.

A Tesco source said that the company will in future concentrate more on their smaller convenience stores including one being built at Cimla.   There are aleady Express stores at Briton Ferry and Waunceirch.
