Surprising lack of coverage with Katherine's wedding

Have you noticed that the wedding of George Clooney, the American actor and film celebrity, was given more attention in the media than the wedding of British (Welsh) born Katherine Jenkins, singer and TV entertainer.   We cannot help wondering if more attention would have been given to Katherine if she were born in England?   It certainly makes you think!
