The report by John Phillip on the proposed naming of Neath's south access road, Nelson Mandela Way, has reminded us of the way the Internet throws up the past and highlights bad council decisions.  One example is the demolition of Neath's last remaining building for entertainment, The Neath Empire, done against the wishes of residents.

Arising from this is the Internet Empire Memorial Plaque, which lists all the councillors who voted for its demolition.   How many of these councillors lived in Neath is a very big question?

Names also include the councillors who voted for the demolition but were NOT elected at the following council elections.
