M4  MOTORWAY JUNCTION 41 SLIP ROAD CLOSURES.

The Welsh Government has undertaken a study into the traffic flows
around the Port Talbot area.
As part of this study Edwina Hart has agreed to the trial closure of the
westbound on slip and eastbound off slip roads at junction 41 under an
experimental order.
If this was a permanent decision it would have to go to Consultation
first  but she has decided that the experimental measures will take
place in August this year.
Edwina Heart says this will allow monitoring and assessment of the
benefits and provide real data to inform the decision on the way
forward.
During the course of the trial, comments will be invited from the
public.

This will mean that junction 40  will take most of the traffic from this
area, I believe  that junction 40 leading to the Old Briton Ferry
Bridge, Baglan Roundabout taking the bypass passed Aberavon  passed
the Bus Station will be the new entrance to Port Talbot Centre.(?) or going to junction 42 and going back to the Town Centre.
