SUCCESSFUL FUNDING BID FOR WAUNCEIRCH AND DWR Y FELIN ROAD.

I have received some very good news  today regarding  the area around the Waunceirch School and Dwr Y Felin Road,  I have been working with the Council's  Road Safety Team  to improve the area at Waunceirch and to make it Safer for the Residents of our Community.

We have been successful in  gaining  funding from the  Safer Routes to School Funding pot from the Welsh Assembly Government to do a Pelican Crossing and improvements to the Highway to enable Pedestrians to cross over the Road to and from Tesco safely, there will also be work carried out to the lanes to and from the School.

I am pleased to say that in times of austerity that  we have been able  to achieve this,
