"Are some TV camera men racist?"  Asks a reader

One of our readers is bold enough to suggest that some television camera men or studio lighting electricians (or both) are racist.  The reader states that some coloured news presenters appear as black blobs on his/her TV screen and wonders what the reason is.   Is it an effort by those on the production team to highlight that certain coloured people are not suitable for television broadcasting - or is there another reason?   Is this reader alone in his/her thoughts - or do others  agree?    Air your views on our letter/discussion page.
