No engagements for Mayor of NPT ?

One of our readers has expressed concern over the fact that no engagement schedule have been received by the media from the Mayor's office for the past two weeks.

The reader refers to the engagements normally listed on the menu of this website and wonders if there is any relevance to the comments made by other readers as to the savings that could be made if the post was done away with.

No notification of engagements would suggest the lack of importance the council attach to the office of the Mayor.
