Reader asks council a simple question

Why can't Neath's new town development look something like this?

Reader says:  "Combine the old with the new - this is what Neath should be doing like the city of Hereford."

Another reader has sent us a photo of the Galleria at Hatfield, which is built over a dual carrageway road.   Ikea at Cardiff have built their complex over the customers car park.

On our letters page yet another reader writes:  "With Neath Victorian heritage, the new development should surely reflect this with narrower winding streets and Victorian facades fronting modern interiors. Neath can have a unique place in the shopping minds of South Wales consumers. ------ Look to the past for future inspiration."
