Tony Wyn-Jones joins UKIP

UKIP for Tony Wyn-Jones

Former NPT CB councillor for Bryncoch South, Tony Wyn-Jones, has joined UKIP - UK Independence Party.

Tony, who lives at Waunceirch, Neath, left the Plaid Cymru party because he was unhappy with the leadership, not so much at local level but at National level.  He explains that he is a royalist and doesn't like the current attitude of Plaid Cymru towards the Royal family.

Tony believes that UKIP has the nation's interests at heart, and thinks he has made a positive move in the right direction.

Tony's Connection with Tircoed Forest Village

Known for his love of radio, Tony often broadcasts from Radio Tircoed which is based just outside Swansea.   The station can be heard on the Internet - they also have their own website: http://www.radiotircoed.com/

Tircoed is a little woodland village outside Swansea and is part of a trust scheme where each of the 470 houses pay an annual fee to a trust fund.  The trust looks after the open spaces, grass cutting and the maintenance of the village hall where the radio station is based.

Editorial comment:  We feel it is rather ironical that Neath with thousands of houses and a population of around 20,000 has no broadcasting facilities, except those covered by stations serving larger areas.

Unlike the original website built in the year 2000, this website is one built for communites - of which Tircoed Forest Village is one.   It gives a somewhat limited picture of the Tircoed community.
