Reader asks the council a question:
"Water Street car park? Perhaps someone on the council can answer the following question: last year having spent what I would imagine a large amount of tax payers money the council having purchased houses in Water Street they then demolished the houses cleared the site and then laid out what they called a temporary car park which consisted of resurfacing, marking out parking areas, and installing height barriers, since this work was carried out the car park has literally just sat there without any sign of it ever being used and obviously losing revenue to the council."
Editorial Note It is time the council had a 'Press Officer' to answer such questions. What one readers says here there must be hundreds who think likewise.
