Three councillors ahead of all the rest - what do they have in common?

The answer is that all three have their own independent websites.  Out of 64 councillors on the NPT CB Council only three councillors have their own independent website where you can get to know them and what they are doing.

The first councillor to have her own website was Cllr Janice Dudley (Plaid Cymru - Bryncoch South).  Janice's website was created way back in November 2011 and is a hive of information to help the community.

After being elected in May 2012 Cllr Rob James (Labour - Bryncoch South) created his own website following Cllr Andrew Jenkins (Labour - Neath South) who was elected in November 2012.

Having their own websites allows each councillor to have their own profile - something sadly missing with other councillors as this information is not given on the NPT Council's own website.

Many think that more should be known about councillors and their backgrounds in view of the fact that nothing is heard of them (or from them) from one election to the next.

Having their own independent websites make the three councillors we mentioned stand out head and shoulders above the rest.
