What is hidden at Neath? +

Our editorial team chat about this on our FERRET TALK page and compare it with the problems here in Neath.

Quote from a recent historical walk with Robert King, Neath Historian:-

"Did you know that the Gnoll Brook carried cholera into Neath in the 19th century three times, cutting across all classes and killing mainly women and children?"

The Gnoll brook was once an open stream going down what is now called Water Street until it was covered over by a tunnelling complex built by the Victorians.  Is foul water and sewage now entering this fresh water route?
