OWAIN GLYNDWR COMMUNITY CENTRE
at Waunceirch

On Monday 15th July a motion was put to Council  after years of confusions over the name change to Waunceirch Community Centre. Many Residents of Waunceirch constantly requested  why? For the following reasons.
1        There were two centres with the same name
2        Confusion to visitor of the Centre Parties and Functions.
3        Electors became confused and turned up to the wrong Poling Station .
4        Emergency Vehicle attended the wrong Centre causing a delay in attending an Emergency Call, this caused anxiety to many users.
5        A Petition by the local Community was presented to Council on the 15th of July  proving that the Community wished the name returned to THE OWAIN GLYNDWR. 

 THAT THE MOTION WAS CARRIED and a loud cheer came from the Public gallery.
