Another move forward to benefit Waunceirch residents
Case goes to POSTRS
The Postal Review Panel calls the top of Dwr-y-Felin Road a "slope" whereas it is one of the steepest sections of road in the whole of Neath Port Talbot. The Royal Mail do not seem to realise the large number of houses built by various developers over the last two decades on this high ground.
Having said this, no mail collection box has been added to the area for the past 50 years.
The main problem is the terrain - the houses are accessed by a steep hill. The Royal Mail have now been challenged to have an official to walk the route from the nearest post box with a group of elderly residents. Will they do this? We must wait and see. Maybe with privatisation residents will have to wait for a competitor with a more caring postal service?
POSTRS = Postal Redress Service.
