Do the Post Office care?

Do the Post Office Care for the elderly?

This is the question that the Post Office Chief Executive's office is now being asked to consider.   Residents at Waunceirch Neath claim that living on top of a hill is no joke when it comes to posting a letter.

The Post Office state that the post box at Dwr-y-Felyn Road, that's the one that is hidden and new residents are not aware of it, has been there for over fifty years.   Since then hundreds of houses have been built at a higher elevation - something the Post Office is being asked to consider.

Will the Post Office change with the times?   Will they consider the terrain and the ageing population?

Providing a post collection box in the new Tesco Express Store will cater for a large community including shops, a school and a community centre.

Currently the Royal Mail is making it difficult for Waunceirch residents to post letters - at a time when they state less letters are being posted.    Instead of encouraging people to post letters they appear to be turning a blind eye to something very obvious.

Let's hope the matter will be reviewed by someone who cares.
