Lo and behold - its a Post Office Collection Box!

But is it active?  Look at the state of it!  (Part 2)

Only if you walk on the pavement (sidewalk) down Dwr-y-Felin Road that you become aware that the structure we mentioned in Part 1 is actually a Royal Mail collection box.    But look at the state of it!   Those who know about it doubt if it is in use, because there is nothing to indicate that it is active.  Therefore, it is little used - if at all?   It is a fact that people are afraid to use it.

What is more, there is one around the corner at Caewern Post Post.   However, one of the Post Office staff advised a resident not to use it because children keep on putting rubbish it "It is best to hand your mail over the counter," the resident was told.

What is the solution for a better mail collection service?   Move the one from Dwr-y-Felin Road to inside the Tesco store where it would be secure.  The long opening hours (6:00am to 11:00pm) would suit everyone.    Alternatively, instal a new one, similar to those at other Tesco stores.  Local Tesco management have confirmed that space is available.
