Wanted - a new reporter

Wanted - a reporter to co-ordinate with councillors

In our quest for a more open and transparent society, we want a reporter who can communicate with councillors and report back to us.    The pay would be simply satisfaction for doing a good job and benefitting society - and perhaps vast experience for someone later on with a paid job in the media.

We know several personalities in the world of radio who started and gained experience on hospital radio.   So why not write today for the Neath Ferret and tomorrow, maybe, Fleet Street.   One has to start somewhere.   Perks of the job would be free access to special events, including the Gwyn Hall for reviewing shows and inteviewing star personalities.

We request such a reporter because councillors are not are addressing the issues on this website.   The exception are the two councillors from Neath South, who show an example to all the others.    In fairness to them, we intend to spread the responsiblity and directly approach councillors who seem to keep out of sight.

In a letter to this website, Cllr Peter Rees infers that the councillors covering the area with the dead tree in Angel Square should be asked about it.   The reporter we want could certainly do just that.

Also we would like to have a profile on each councillor, their work. aims and hobbies.    We want a more friendly and open relationship with our councillors - our new reporter could certainly work in that direction.
