If it is not chewed then it is not dropped on floors.  Maybe more people should be made aware of the dangers of chewing gum - it would certainly solve a lot of problems.

If you feel strongly about the chewing gum on streets, why not print this out and give it to a gum chewer - you could be doing the person a very big favour.
