Adverts for dog poop bins?

With some light relief to our other news items, a reader with a sense of humour has sent us some pictures in response to Cllr Peter Rees comment as to who would want to advertise on dog poo bins?    Actually, adverts for biodegradable dog bags (for the poo - and not the dog!) is a good idea, although we have been told that bags are available at Neath Civic Centre.

Perhaps a little more humour is shown on the left picture - although we feel sure that readers will come up with something else.

On a more serious note we think these bins should be numbered (like lamp-posts) with a telephone number added to inform the authorities when the bin is full.   An overflowing dog poo bin is deemed to be a heath hazard - so this suggestion makes sense.

Again, with a little humour, Mike Davies sends us this photograph of the dog he once had - a dog that went everywhere with him and is now sadly missed.
