Cllr Peter Rees answers reader's query

A reader asked Cllr Peter Rees if there was any money coming from the Welsh Government/Westminster to help those in need because of the forthcoming social services cuts.

Cllr Rees responds:
"I am not aware that there is money coming to Wales Government from Westminster for this purpose.
The Council does not have sufficient smaller properties for those tenants who wish to move. This would be the remit of the Housing Associations and landlords.
There is data - which would indicate those affected by the "Bedroom Tax" and those people would have been asked to pay the Council Tax if the WAG had not provided the finances this year to protect them."
