Geoff White leaving office?

We are not sure if this news item was meant for next Monday (April 1st) as a reader reports (Readers' Letters) that the Head of Planning NPT CBC, Mr Geoff White, is leaving his office.  It has not yet been confirmed on the council's website - if the report is correct.

Geoff White was responsible for the building of Llwyn Helig at Waunceirch, now better known as 'White's Folly' - considered to be Neath's worst eyse sore.    He also endorsed the demolishment of the Empire Neath - an entertainment centre that served the citizens of Neath for 84 years.

No doubt we will hear more about this breaking news item in due course.
