Water Street .... Going..... Going

We know for a fact that many of the houses in Water Street, acquired by NPT CBC for demolition to make way for a new town centre, had valuable fixtures like gas boilers, radiators, kitchen units etc, which were left behind by the former tenants.   Now the big question is:  'Did the council make an effort to sell the fixtures which totalled thousands of pounds at todays prices?'     Even the second hand value of the fixtures is thought to be quite considerable

We aim to find the answer because in the end it really means YOUR money.
Perhaps some councillor can provide the answer and put many minds at rest?
