Council takes action against environmental offences
14 March 2013
Neath Port Talbot Council's zero tolerance policy on flytipping, littering and dog fouling has resulted in three successful prosecutions.
The Council's waste enforcement team brought the court action on Thursday, March 7, against three individuals who flouted environmental law.
The above news snippit is from the NPT CBC's website, which goes a step further than us and names and shames those concerned. We support the council's action and endorse the content of their website. Perhaps in future we will work even more closely with their media department to give them the benefit of our exremely high viewing figures. Working in harmony can certainly benefit residents.
By the way, readers are reminded that if anyone is caught dropping chewing gum in Singapore they are sent to jail.
We hope to see cleaner streets in Neath in future.
