New personal websites for two NPT CBC councillors
Councillors Andrew Jenkins and Robert James are following the example of Janice Dudley in having their own personal websites. Both are being launched this week and are highlighted below:-

When did councillors personal websites first start?
Janice Dudley produced her personal councillor website in November 2011 and made a point of making it non-political but rather a means to help others with a series of active links and with an interactive help facility.
'Personal' websites are defined as being independent to the political parties own websites.
The success of any councillor's personal website reflects on how people are put before party politics.
In fairness to all concerned, if readers have a personal problem they should contact their own councillor in the first instance. These personal websites make it easier to do that. They should only contact the Neath Ferret website if they have no satisfaction from their councillor or when they think readers should know about a common matter.
