How many jobs have our council officials got?

One of our readers has raised a question that has yet to be answered - see Readers' Letters.

We have deleted this news item following a compliant from Cllr. Peter Rees.   It was an editorial decision to do so to show our neutrality.   However, the original letter is left on our Readers' Letters page.

We do listen to our readers, and in this case to Cllr Rees, and the fact that we highlighted a letter in the way we did.

It is not the first time we have deleleted a new item.   Cllr Janice Dudley objected to a premature news item submitted by Cllr Rob James relating to the Blaenhonddan Community Council which could have prejudiced on-going negotiations.    Cllr Dudley has promised to give us a full report on this when the matter is completed.

In this case we are looking into the issue and will report back with any details that may emerge.
