Dear Neath Ferret,

I feel that your website could be a real vehicle for up lifting the spirits of the community,  at a time when Government changes and austerity measures are making enormous pressures on families.
Instead of looking for all the faults in the community why not focus on all that is good and positive. In this way we can lift the spirits of people. There is a lot for us to celebrate, despite the vicious, callas and spiteful measures that this government are bringing about with the Welfare Reform changes and higher cost of living. It is no good wallowing in despair. I am not suggesting that the shortcomings of the council - whether County or Town Councils - should be ignored, but let us have a balanced view and also praise and celebrate the good things that are happening in our communities. Let this website be a positive instrument to relieve the anxiety and stress on people by demonstrating that there are good things happening around us.
In the words of the Monty Python song "look on the bright side of life".
