Startling facts given by reader

One of our readers has come out with facts that should be closely looked at - readers' letters page.  One of the prime reasons for creating this website was to explore matters like this.   When the Neath and Port Talbot Guardians finished it made us all the more determined  to highlight facts and figures that everyone should know.   All we want now is for these facts to be acknowledged by those handing the finances of the council - your money.

As said many times before, an open and transparent policy is called for.   Many councillors of both parties agree with this.   So the challenge is there for answers / acknowledgements to be given to the letter we refer to.

If anything is not correct, we will certainly highlight that too - after the discussion takes place - or when we get an official response.

It seems a new beginning may be immanent!
