Neath Business Man and His Idea

We look closely at a letter sent to us

There are great possibilities behind the idea suggested to have a photo to portray Neath as a town of distinction to attract visitors and business people.

Many business people think that NPT CBC does very little to market the town and even less to assist local traders market their businesses. Maybe the idea will encourage them to go that one mile further.

The concept of running a competition is therefore a positive move forward, giving the opportinity for residents and business people to highlight an image, logo - call it what you will,  to be used across the board on their business cards, website, invoices, etc., almost as a corporate brand.  

Assuming that a photographer was to provide a royalty free image, that businesses, groups, societies, etc., and maybe even residents on personal email, its use would help promote the Neath 'brand'.
Maybe it would only attract one visitor, or even one new business - but one is better than none.   A new business could even lead to the creation of new jobs - so it would have multiple benefits.

This website and the Neath Guardian one has started the ball rolling - now let us see how many people are interested in seeing Neath move forward and become a town that stands out from all others.
