homes, council tax benefits and sickness and disability benefits.

Neath Port Talbot Council Welfare Rights Unit are working with
Communities First, NPT Carers and Calon DVS.
HOSTING A NUMBER OF EVENTS ACROSS THE COUNTY BOROUGH TO INFORM PEOPLE OF THE CHANGES TO HELP THEM MAXIMISE THEIR BENEFIT ENTITLEMENTS AHEAD OF THE CHANGES.

If you are worried or concerned about your personal circumstances please
go along to the event at Britton Ferry or telephone the number below for
advice and help.

BRITON FERRY COMMUNITY CENTRE FROM 12.30pm TO 4.30pm ON MONDAY OCTOBER 29th 2012.

For more information on welfare reforms contact the Welfare Rights Team
on 01639 685245

Many residents are likely to feel the impact of the forthcoming changes
to the benefit system and many are unaware of how it is likely to affect
them therefore the more people that the Council can reach at this stage
to discuss how the changes are likely to affect them the less likely it
will come as a shock at a later date.
