Change is Good – New Jobs are Great

A Neath based car supermarket is due to create 50 plus skilled vacancies at its Neath Abbey operation.  Due to continued expansion plans, The Trade Centre Wales are proposing to develop the vacant land opposite the showroom, of which they are the owners, for larger workshops and offices. After opening a retail outlet in Merthyr Tydfil in June 2011 they have simply outgrown the current facilities and will be investing £1.5m into new state-of-the-art workshop facilities along with a purpose built customer care centre.

With the support of Neath Port Talbot Council and the planners it is hoped that work will commence in early 2013 with a view to the new Service Centre being operational by the end of August 2013. It would appear that a solid plan for business growth mixed with local authority support and open communication with the council and planning department, really is a recipe for growth in South Wales.
