Helping Councillors?

Explanations and statements on this website can save councillors work - so the editorial team thought.   In other words, a website such as this can be a central source of community information - especially when readers write to us on certain issues.  

Why should readers write to us, instead of contacting councillors direct?   There are several reasons, one is privacy and the other is that they think the information should be made public.

Sadly the rug has being pulled away from your editorial team.   The Editor explains in his blog.    Maybe you have thoughts on this - we would certainly like to know.
