To coincide with Empire Ground Zero, the Neath Empire being demolished to ground level, a memorial plaque has been placed on the Empire website.

This is thought to be the the world's first Internet Memorial Plaque, it pictures and names all the NPT CBC councillors who agreed to the demolishment of the 85 year old entertainment building - the last building of its kind in the town of Neath.
