Swansea University Praise Heritage Enthusiast
The Art Department at Swansea University have praised the efforts of Jason Reynolds (right) who saved the beautiful stained glass windows from the former Neath Empire, now being demolished.
Since being at the university the windows have been the centre of attraction and have done much to illustrate the skills of the past in making stained glass windows. In fact, one art master said that they had inspired some students to go that one mile further.
The windows have been donated to the citizens of Neath by the Coastal Housing Group, who bought the Empire freehold. A permanent home is being discussed with the Chief Executive of NPT CBC
