Council Question Time ?

Suggestion for a 'Council Question Time'

A reader has suggested that NPT CBC should have council open days - similar to those held by Neath College when parents can ask teachers questions about their children's education.
Another reader has gone a step further and suggests a COUNCIL QUESTION TIME where a panel of councillors and officials could answer questions put to them by residents.   The resident suggests that, for an example, officials like Geoff White, Head of Planning, could be on the panel and asked why he recommended the Neath Empire be demolished in favour of 12 flats for social housing.

Lack of communication, with no opportunity to ask questions to the council as a whole, seems to crop up in many readers letters.   This is certainly something for the council to consider.
