Actions speak louder than words

and we are doing something about it!

Just to prove we listen to our readers, we have put into action what has been suggested.  A new page has been added to our menu so that readers can send in photos of Neath eye sores - it is called 'NEATH i' 

The idea is for everyone to work for and with the council and show what needs to be done with photographs - assuming they don't already know.

The photos will be there for the council to see.   It so happens the the rest of the UK and the world will see them too - that is the way of the World Wide Web.

It is thought that this will be the first website of its kind in the UK that is designed for residents to help a council in a positive way.  Hopefully it will capture the imagination of many amateur photographers who will attempt to produce Neath's worst eyesores for the council's attention.

We feel sure that council officials will appreciate the help that will be given to them in an effort to improve our town.   The website will also highlight the work done as a result of the photographs sent in.

As a combined effort, we can turn the town's tears of sadness into tears of joy.  Don't talk or write - click with your camera!
