Olympic Flame expected to pass new road layout

Following positive action by Cllr Janice Dudley and a phone call to the highways department by Cllr Rob James, the road markings at the Roman Way Banana Inland were completed in time for the arrival of the Olympic Flame (Saturday 26th May).

Cllr Dudley said she made known the importance of the occasion and also the complaints by Roman Way residents.    Cllr James said that work would continue after the event - although it seems that all the road markings have now been completed.

All we want now is feedback from the Roman Way residents - do they really think this is an improvement?

Cllr Dudley wants it known that she is very unhappy about the layout arrangement (which she opposed) because school children taken to school by bus will have to cross the main road at a peak time when the new school opens.

Cllr Janice Dudley's next surgery will be at the Wauncerich Owain Glyndwr Community Centre at the top of Dwr-y-felin Road, Waunceirch, on Saturday 9th June at 10:00am.   The date change is because the holiday weekend is on the first Saturday of the month when Cllr Dudley normally meets residents.
