Two sides to every story

In a letter to this website Cllr Peter Rees says that we should not knock Neath but rather talk it up.  In other words, we should look on the bright side.

Perhaps many readers may not realise, from what they read on this website, that we want to see Neath made a better place - a place that we can proudly invite visitors.

So what are we doing about it?   Below you will see the answer, our editorial team, in conjunction with GaynorIT have made a series of websites - all without the help of sponsors or the NPT CBC.    All are designed to make Neath appear an attractive place.  Think how much more could be done IF we had sponsors.

www.heritagescene.tk    All about the heritage of our town.

www.neathcommunitynews.co.uk   A hub website where residents can send in news items.    There is even a book review by a local author.

www.neathhastalent.tk  Neath Has Talent - show biz personalities who come from Neath and surrounding areas - also highlights the Gwyn Hall as the focal point for entertainment.

www.neathmarket.tk   Highlights the Victorian Market - which should be the pride of Neath.

www.neathguardian.co.uk   A tribute website to Neath's former newspaper - which ceased publication in 2009 after providing news on local issues for 84 years. 

All these websites, without exception, are under development - what is wanted is support and enthusiasm from those in a position to help.

So are we helping Neath to be a better place?    We think so - even if some think otherwise.
