Cllr Martyn Peters - Mayor NPT CBC for 2012/2013

At a meeting held yesterday at NPT CBC, it was confirmed that Cllr Martyn Peters, who represents Dyffryn Clydach, will be the Mayor for the borough for 2012/2013.   The inauguration of the Mayor takes place at The Princess Royal Theatre on Friday, 18th May 2012.

We can exclusively report that the new mayor will have a Formal Dairy of Events published on the Internet - one of the first mayor's in the UK to have website with a calendar format.      The new website is in addition to any official website published by the council.   A preview of the heading of the new website is given below.
