Have we changed and improved all that much?

Frank Little has sent us a newspaper clip from 1993.  It makes us wonder if things have changed all that much. We apologise for the quality of the reproduction.

After seeing the above, a reader has written in and says the situation has actually gone worse in some parts of the Blaenhonddan area - and gives examples to illustrate the point.

We ask readers to think back over the past twenty years and give their views.  Look at the chewing gum on the ground and the litter all around you - was it this bad when the above was printed?   And what can be done about it?
