Roman Way Concern

Blood Forecast for Roman Way

A Roman Way resident has written to NPT CBC and his councillor regarding what he calls the crazy road layout on the main road near the banana island.  The resident said that in the event of a pending accident the blood will be on the hands of those responsible for the design of the layout, which is to cater for buses transporting children to the new school at Dwr-y-felin.

Cllr Janice Dudley has already warned the council of the dangers and said a Labour block vote endorsed the traffic arrangement.

In the meantime a new cycle path has been made in the field parallel to the main road.   If this were made a road instead of a cycle path it would have solved the problem as it would have taken the school buses off the main road.

The whole issue is thought to be another clanger created by the highways and planning departments of NPT CBC.
